Picture from the UDA Elem tournament, Picture night, and the LM/Halifax Scimmage have been posted.The Elementary Wrestling Program is broken up into 3 different levels:

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade- The focus of the K, 1^st & 2^nd grade program is to teach the basics of wrestling and to have fun.  Practices will consist of wrestling and fun activities.

3rd and 4th Grade- The focus of the 3rd and 4th grade program is to teach the fundamentals of wrestling and to give and introduction to competitions.  Practices will consist of wrestling, drills, and fun activities. Weekend tournaments are encouraged but are optional.  We will organize teams to compete with each other or with other local school districts.  Information on tournaments and competitions will be supplied as the season progresses.

5th and 6th Grade- The focus of the 5th and 6th grade program is to teach the fundamentals of wrestling and to give and introduction to competitions.  Practices will consist of wrestling, drills, and fun activities. Weekend tournaments are encouraged but are optional.  There will be competition with local school districts.  Information on tournaments and competitions will be supplied as the season progresses.
